Weekend Dimsum Buffet at HARMONY SQUARE - Grand Mercure Maha Cipta, Harmoni

Who loves dim sum? Yes, me too! So last weekend I visited this one hotel in Harmoni area which happens to have a dimsum promo every weekend. And yes, an all you can eat one. HARMONY SQUARE is a restaurant inside Grand Mercure Maha Cipta which is currently holding a 40% discount promo on their weekend dim sum buffet program every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30-15 PM. A 40% off from IDR 168,000++, wow, that's quite nice.

Let's check this place out. The restaurant might not be as big or as grand as a five stars hotels' restaurant (Grand Mercure is a 4 stars plus hotel fyi), but the place is quite nice and comfortable. So on weekend, you might enjoy selections of dim sum, steamed and fried, congee, soup, la mian, also several other Chinese food menus, salads, and desserts. For your information, all the food here is halal.

They have quite various items of dim sum: har gao, cha siu pao, siew mai, steamed chicken feed, special har gao, steamed meatballs, steamed beancurd steamed rolls, fried prawn dumplings, fried beancurd rolls, jian dui, red bean pancake, and others.

For Chinese food menus, that day they had kungpow chicken, fried noodle, braised vegetables and tofu, fried rice, Peking duck, roasted and steamed chicken, jellyfish salad, and corn soup.

As for la mian, the noodle is freshly made, and they'll cook it for you on the spot. You may choose the chicken, beef, or seafood one.

You might also find some local delicacies such as traditional salads, also jajanan pasar. 

And these were some of the menus I tried there. Overall, everything was good and worth the price you pay. My favorites were the siew mai, fried prawn dumplings, the congee, and their lamian. 

So, looking for a dim sum place to visit this weekend with your family? I think this place worth a try.

Kalau biasa di restoran shabu-shabu terdapat 1 stove untuk dipakai beramai-ramai, di SHABU GHIN, setiap meja menyediakan electric stove sesuai jumlah bangku, jadi setiap tamu dapat menggunakan stove masing-masing.

Mari kita tengok bagian paling penting dari tempat ini, buffet bar! Di buffet bar tersedia berbagai pilihan makanan dan minuman mulai dari berbagai sayuran, jamur, berbagai jenis seafood balls yang siap dicempungkan ke dalam pot shabu-shabu, beragam pilihan dipping sauce, juga berbagai makanan yang siap disantap seperti spaghetti, tempura, chicken karaage, japchae, sushi, gyuudon, sampai berbagai jenis minuman, buah-buahan, juga es krim. Salah satu hal yang paling saya sukai di SHABU GHIN adalah pilihan minuman yang sangat beragam mulai dari ocha, soft drinks, teh, kopi yang kesemuanya sudah inclusive dari harga all you can eat yang ditawarkan.

Ada 3 jenis paket all you can eat yang ditawarkan SHABU GHIN:

- SHABU GHIN Special Beef: IDR 188,000 ++ (Child/Senior IDR 115,000++)

SHABU GHIN menawarkan 5 jenis soup shabu-shabu: Original Konbu Soup, Chicken Mizutaki Soup, Spicy Tonyu Soup, Spicy Seafood Soup, juga Sukiyaki Soup. Karena saya menyukai rasa gurih, saya memesan Chicken Mizutaki Soup.

SHABU GHIN juga menyediakan beberapa jenis dipping sauce, dan favorit saya adalah Spicy Suki Sauce di atas.

Untuk daging, favorit saya adalah US Premium Beef yang cenderung berlemak, sehingga rasanya gurih, dan teksturnya lembut. The wagyu was also great!

Overall, I really had a pleasant lunch at SHABU GHIN (twice already), and for you shabu-shabu lovers, this place really worth a try (PS: 50% discount until the end of October). Happy shabu-ing!
